We support interdisciplinary population dynamics and population health research, with a special focus on the analysis of spatial inequalities (in particular, urban and regional development and its impact on residents) and the concerns of vulnerable populations (as defined by race and ethnicity, age, social class, and nativity). The CSDA provides researchers with access to first-rate computing facilities, statistical consulting, assistance with grant preparation and administration, and other related services. Additionally, through our hosting of a regular colloquium series, research methods workshops, and other events open to the entire University community, the CSDA serves as an intellectual hub that connects our local population researchers to one another, as well as to the broader network of national and international population researchers.
